Texas RB D'Onta Foreman to forego senior year, turn pro

Night net NCAA Football null null null null Charlie Strong isn't the only one out the door in Austin. Texas' record-setting running back D'Onta Foreman announced Wednesday he will forego his senior season and enter the Night net Draft.Before Strong was fired at the end of the season, Foreman said his coach's fate would affect his decision to go pro. But Foreman said Wednesday if Strong were still the coach, he would have entered the Night net draft anyway. His 2,028 yards this season is 17th-best in NCAA history and the top mark in the nation this season. Foreman said Wednesday he deserves to be in New York for the Heisman Trophy award ceremony.  Foreman is regarded as one of the top prospects in a loaded running-back class, which is expected to include LSU's Leonard Fournette, Florida State's Dalvin Cook and Stanford's Christian McCaffrey.
